About the event:
- In the first part of the workshop, you will learn about the importance of self-presentation in the Canadian job market. You will learn how to present yourself properly in typical situations such as interviews, networking events, and meetings with potential employers.
- In the second practical part of the workshop, you will learn how to confidently start any interview in English, so that the question “Tell me about yourself” won’t terrify you.
What will be covered:
- Analysis of which of your skills to talk about.
- Identification and structuring of your achievements and how to talk about them correctly.
- Discussion of the best networking strategies in Canada.
- A toolkit of 20 English phrases for self-presentation, easily adaptable to your field.
- Practical training with new expressions and feedback from the instructor.
