Tea ceremony from the Calgary Tea Club
Problem: We live in a fast-paced world, each day filled with challenges and tasks. The instability and frequent changes are exhausting, leaving us with no time for ourselves. It's difficult to find a quiet place to think, relax, reconnect with ourselves, organize our thoughts, and rejuvenate.
Solution: We found a unique solution to this problem with the Tea Ceremony. The mission of the Calgary Tea Club is to foster connections in a tea space with ourselves and other people. Everyone in our tea space will explore the world of tea and experience the "tea state," a process of slowing down, balancing, and rejuvenating the mind and body.
During the tea ceremony, you will:
- Familiarize yourself with Chinese tea culture and premium teas
- Sample 3 varieties of tea: white, green, red, oolong, puer. (The specific types will be revealed at the ceremony)
- Dedicate 2 hours to a device-free experience
- Enhance your taste and aroma perception
- Focus your attention on the tea and your state
- Experience the unique “tea state” - satisfaction and "tea intoxication"
- Engage with fellow participants.
- Enjoy the session.
Tea Ceremony Facilitator: Mykola Konovalenko is a tea master and the founder of the Calgary Tea Club. He is an entrepreneur, an expert in hiring and personnel management, Executive & Business Coach ICF.
Since 2020, Mykola has been immersing himself in the study of tea and the exploration of Chinese tea culture. His exclusive collection boasts 50 unique types of tea from private farmers in China.
During tea ceremonies in Calgary, he generously imparts his knowledge and passion for tea. Let Mykola be your guide through the sophisticated realm of premium tea.
How much does it cost? The cost of the ticket is 20 CAD. Attendance is limited to only 10 people.
Recommendation for the tea ceremony: Having a light snack before the ceremony is advisable, avoiding heavily flavoured or strongly seasoned dishes. This will enhance your experience and allow you to immerse yourself in the tea ceremony fully!
